Our History
Four decades of determination, consistency and passion for locksmithing
From tradition to modernity
The history of Mark Kyrc began four decades ago. Despite unfavorable times for business development, from 1986 to the present day, we have been guided by determination, consistency, the need to create, and the desire to improve. It is this passion and love for locksmithing that has led our brand to increasingly greater recognition in both domestic and international markets.
We are bound by family traditions and the region, which shaped our identity long before. In the heart of the Wieliczka Foothills, in Światniki Górne – a town renowned for its padlock-making craft – one of the oldest locksmith schools in Galicia and Poland has operated since 1888. Zbigniew Kyrc and the founder of our company, Marek Kyrc, attended it.
The beginning of the tradition
Zbigniew Kyrc opens a small locksmith shop specializing in padlock production. The limited availability of raw materials and the government's unfavorable attitude toward private business forces him to close the shop after a few years.

Working in a cooperative
Zbigniew Kyrc begins working at the "Przyszłość" cooperative as the manager of the tool distribution center. Sets of antique padlock tools produced by Zbigniew and the suitcase he used when traveling to sell his goods have been preserved.

Birth of Mark Kyrc
Zbigniew's son, Marek Kyrc, quit his full-time job to pursue his dreams and open his own business. Determined to achieve success, he began producing corners and hinges for wooden windows. Our machinery includes a bench drill press, two manual balancing presses, and a 60-ton press manufactured by Rzyszczyński Końskie.

Product range development
We manufacture several models of window and door hinges, corner hinges, furniture latches, washers, and push-in latches. Our original location is at Łyczanka 17.

We're hitting the road
Customers come to buy from us, but we know the market is growing rapidly. We're replacing the Polonez with a trailer with our first serious delivery vehicle. We're hitting the road!

New directions
We respond to our customers' needs and introduce our first models of angle brackets and wood connectors. We purchase a truck and set a course for ourselves.

Investing in the future
We have purchased land at 71 Myśliwska Street in Łyczanka. We are beginning construction on a new headquarters that will allow us to continue our growth.

Quality certification
We respond to the needs of a growing market by reinforcing our standards. We receive the first technical approval for three-dimensional nailing plates, receiving the number AT-06-0798/2005.

Move
The move is underway. We're starting work in a new facility. The larger space strengthens our production and warehousing capabilities.

Production automation
We're expanding our machinery. We now have two automatic presses for coil sheet production. We're accelerating production and increasing efficiency.

Systematic development
We are systematically expanding our product range. Our first major product catalog is being created, showcasing our entire product range.

Another expansion
We're building a second production and warehouse facility. Maciej Kyrc begins working alongside his parents with enthusiasm and a head full of ideas – a new chapter in the company's history begins.

30th anniversary
The opening of the company's second wing coincides with ZPH Mark's 30th anniversary. All employees, along with Zbigniew and Maria Kyrc, participated in the dedication ceremony and event.

Modernity and innovation
Since 2017, we have been systematically modernizing our production processes, eliminating outdated technologies and introducing solutions that comply with the highest European standards.
Production restructuring
We are embarking on a multi-year production restructuring. We are virtually eliminating sheet metal production. We now have several automated production lines, and we are modernizing packaging and labeling. We are obtaining the first European ETA technical approval.

Expanding the offer
We are expanding our range with products imported from the Far East to better meet the needs of our customers.

Expansion and succession
We're expanding our domestic client base, including DIY chains, and focusing on exports. Due to his extensive involvement, Maciej joins the partnership of Marek and Maria Kyrc.

Finalization of modernization
The restructuring of our production department is nearing completion. Our tooling for our entire product range consists exclusively of progressive cutting dies. We can process large quantities of steel. We are focusing on automating other processes.

Further development
We are consistently pursuing our strategy. Our sales department is growing. We pride ourselves on a wide product range and three technical approvals for various product groups.

A new era
We're changing the company's name, logo, and legal form. The succession process is a natural progression. Maciej takes over and becomes CEO of the company—the third generation continuing the family tradition.

Investing in the future
We are building a third hall with a separate area for automatic presses, a packaging facility three times larger, and a warehouse. We are preparing for the next decades of growth.

Heritage and Future
For three generations, the Kyrc family has passed down their passion for locksmithing and their commitment to company development. What began as a small workshop in 1960 is now a modern enterprise with an international reach, preserving the spirit of tradition and family values.
